ARFF Courses include Airport Rescue and Firefighter (ARFF) initial certification as well as “live fire” refresher courses. Major topics covered are airport familiarization, aircraft familiarization, military aircraft, ARFF tactics and strategies, ARFF communications, ARFF agents and application methods, ARFF ladders, forcible entry, ventilation, salvage and overhaul, aircraft dangers, hazmat and PPE, ARFF IMS, planning, and mass casualty. Optional course contents can include tank farm and fuel truck fires. With the increase of global air traffic the efficient operation of airports and flights avoiding any delays are in the major interest of Airports and Airlines. Disabled Aircraft can cause a major commercial impact on Airlines and Airports. Strategic Fire Solutions (SFS) offers Disabled Aircraft Recovery (DAR) Operations-, management and Refresher Courses to assist Airlines and Airports to be prepared for such situations and to minimize their commercial risks. Our DAR certification and refresher training programs are compliant with ICAO and IATA regulations and recommendations for a successful DAR preparedness and operation. IGNIS understands, that effective Incident Management is paramount for airports and airlines to effectively direct operations and personnel during any incident. To assist aviation organizations having leaders with the proper skills, knowledge and abilities developed for an optimum utilization of personnel and resources, SFS offers several courses in leadership. Successful candidates excel academically, demonstrate teamwork and leadership skills, establish professional behavior, and perform strenuous physical work. Upon completion, cadets are eligible to earn IFSAC Certification in Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Awareness, Hazardous Materials Operations, and Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF). All courses are conducted in accordance with NFPA 470 Hazardous Materials Standards for Responders, NFPA 1001 Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications, NFPA 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, and NFPA 1003 Standard for Airport Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications.

After successfully learning to meet the challenges faced by both the Company and Command Officer, candidates are eligible for IFSAC/ Proboard testing and certification. Pre-Requisites for Fire Officer I IFSAC/ Proboard Testing will be Firefighter I and II, Instructor I.
